Jill Gremmel Peters grew up in Dubuque, Iowa where she played volleyball for Dubuque Wahlert High School. While at Wahlert, Jill led the team to back to back state championships. In high school, Jill was 1st team all state her junior and senior year. She was also named state tournament MVP her junior and senior year. In 1997, Jill was named Iowa player of the year. In 2004, she was inducted into the Iowa High School Association Volleyball Hall of Fame. As a fab 50 selection, Jill continued her volleyball career at the University of Texas. She was the starting setter at Texas from 1998-2000. Jill was an all Big 12 Conference Selection multiple times, All Big 12 player of the week multiple times, National player of the week, Academic All American, and team MVP in 1999 and 2000. She is currently the 2nd assist leader in Texas history. Jill now lives in Cedar Park with her husband, Ted, and her 4 children. Jill has a passion for volleyball. She loves teaching and training players all aspects of the game.
