AJV Alumni Emery Herman and 18 Mizuno’s Grayson Schirpik and Reilly Heinrich have been named AVCA High School All-Region athletes for their performances during the high school season. They are now one step closer to being named Under Armour All-Americans!

Emery Herman has opted to graduate in the fall to join the University of Arizona volleyball program in the spring. Grayson and Reilly both represent Rouse High School. Grayson has committed to TCU, and Reilly will play for the University of Texas.

The AVCA is excited to announce the inaugural AVCA High School All-Region Teams. A total of 10 regions represent the 50 states. The number of athletes on each All-Region team is determined by the number of Under Armour All-America nominations each region receives. The top 50% of nominated athletes according to the AVCA regional committees will be the athletes who are named All-Region. By naming winners as a percentage amount of nominations by region, the AVCA will name winners in proportionality to the quality and growth of girl’s high school volleyball. The All-Region teams includes the athletes that will be named to the First Team, Second Team, Third Team, and Honorable Mention, which will be announced Wednesday, November 6th.
