Sophomore AJV Alumni Casey Tarvin has been given two honors before the post-season has even begun. Casey was named First Team All-Conference in the South Atlantic Conference, and All-Southeast Region by the Division II Collegiate Commissioners Association.
From Queen's University of Charlotte:
"Tarvin, a 2018 First Team All-SAC selection, finished the year second in the conference with 3.70 kills per set, collecting a league-best 392 kills while adding 4.34 digs per set on the year.
The Leander, Texas native notched 17 double-doubles on the season, going over 30 digs on two occasions while topping the 20-kill mark four times. She was named the SAC Player of Week once and her 25 kills against Lenoir-Rhyne University on Oct. 20 matched the highest single-match kill total in program history."
Congratulations to Casey on these exciting honors! Her team heads into the NCAA DII Championship Tournament this weekend.
