Beginning with Austin Juniors in 2015, Sam has coached teams ranging from 12 White, 13 Red, 14 White, 14 Red, 14 Navy and 13 Molten. She grew up in San Antonio playing club around the area and graduated from John Marshall High School. She further attended Lipscomb University and graduated from St. Edward's University. While at St. Edward's University, she created and established the club volleyball team.
Sam has assisted in coaching with various academy and WAYA programs hosted by Austin Juniors. For the past 2 years, Sam has coached at Regents School of Austin and led the 7th/8th Grade Gold Team program to win the CAPPS championship in 2020 and a top 4 finish in 2021.
When Sam is not working her full-time job, she loves to be out and about in Austin with her dog, Fitzgerald.
