The Lone Star Classic™ is the largest of the Junior National Qualifiers. The tournament continues to grow in size and strength of competition. Last year, the tournament broke the 1200 team record mark with over 1230 teams competing!

2007

LSC breaks 1,200 team barrier. Mizuno SPVB 18 Elite finishes 3rd at LSC in 18 Open and finishes as National Champions at Minneapolis USJN's. 

2006 LSC breaks 1,000 team barrier.
2005 LSC teams made up 22% of the field at the Junior National Championships in Salt Lake City.  Notable finishes by LSC participants include Austin 18 Mizuno winning the 18 National Division, Asics KIVA 17 Red winning the 17 Open Division, and Willowbrook 13 Asics winning the 13 American  Division.
2003
 Alamo 15 Kaepa wins the LSC 15 Open and goes on to win the 15 Open Nationals.
2002
 103 teams went on to compete at the Junior National Championships in Salt Lake City, Utah.
1998
 103 teams went on to compete at the Junior National Championships in Dallas, Texas.
1997
 Circle City finishes 3rd at LSC 18 Open and finishes 3rd at Denver USJN's.
1997
 9 teams that participated in the 18 Open Division of USA JNVC (over 25% of field played in LSC.

 Alamo 16 Black finished 3rd at LSC in 16 Open and wins 16 Club at Nationals.

 Milwaukee Sting finishes 5th at LSC in 16 Open and finished 5th at Denver USJN's.
1996
 Tampa Bay Jrs, finishes 2nd at Lone Star and 2nd at the USJNs in San Jose.
1995
 Magnum Blue takes 3rd place in the Girls 18 Open at LSC and at the USJOs.
1994
 9 of the teams of the 32 Open teams at USJO competed in the LSC.
1993
 Circle City wins Lone Star Girls 18s and finishes runner-up at the USJO's.
1992
 The Thunderbirds Boys 18s win Lone Star and finish 3rd at the USJO's.
1991
 The Stuff-It Boys 18s win their fourth consecutive Lone Star and finish 3rd at the USJO's.
1990 
Lone Star Girls 18 Finals: Front Range defeats Nevada Juniors and in the USJO finals Nevada Juniors beat Front Range.
1989
 Nevada Juniors wins Lone Star Girls 18 and under Division and finishes runner-up at the USJO's.
1988
Mission Valley wins Lone Star Girls 16 and under Division and finishes runner-up at the USJO's.
