AJV Financial Assistance Program

AJV Scholarship Fund Mission Statement

To provide an opportunity for young girls to participate in Austin Junior Volleyball, helping them to achieve their full athletic potential while promoting leadership, teamwork, friendship, character, goal setting and self discipline.

The Austin Junior Volleyball Financial Assistance Program now consists of two distinct funds -

1. The Financial Assistance Fund which is comprised of monies raised through sportswear and decal sales and donations. These monies are distributed to work/matching funds participants and to need-based applicants.

2. The Madison "Bing" Bingaman Memorial Scholarship Fund was set-up in the summer of 2007 in honor of the late Madison Bingaman (Stony Point and AJV Class of '07) who tragically died in a car wreck on her way to UMBC for her freshman season. Madison played for Austin Junior Volleyball for 6 years and was a true friend, teammate, and competitor. She loved volleyball and loved life.
