Hotel Rates Have Dropped Throughout Dallas

New Policy
Earlier this year, Lone Star Classic conducted a survey of participants that stayed in the block last year. The number one request was that we work to lower hotel rates. With this in mind, in order to provide the best hotel rates possible to the participants in the Lone Star Classic, LSC has put into effect a Stay to Play and Save policy effective for the 2010 LSC. Thus far, the policy has had the effect of lowering hotel rates by an average of over $20 per night throughout Dallas. Club Division Change
Important!  The Club Division at the Mizuno Lone Star Classic has changed for ages 14, 15 and 16 and under. The club division will now be split into two divisions, the National and American Divisions.  The National division will be for those teams seeking a National bid to Junior Nationals and the American Division will be for those teams seeking an American bid to Junior Nationals.

This change to the distribution of teams will allow for better scheduling and a better overall tournament.  Please be prepared to decide which division you want your 14-16 and under teams to play in with these new changes in mind.
