What we are

Austin Junior Volleyball is a non-profit youth organization founded in 1984 as a girl’s volleyball club and has steadily grown over the years to included 27 teams ranging from 12 year olds to18 year olds. The teams participate extensively throughout Texas and in other tournaments around the country from late November through early July. This includes participating in the USA Volleyball National Championships and National Qualifying tournaments.

In addition to fielding Central Texas ’ most competitive teams, Austin Junior Volleyball also runs several nationally recognized tournaments each spring. These include the Tour of Texas, the Texas Championship Series, the Lone Star Regional Championships, the Lone Star Classic (a national qualifying tournament), and the Southwest National Volleyball Championships.

Club Staff

Austin Junior Volleyball is extremely proud of our staff. We have 18 coaches with high school or junior high coaching experience, 7 coaches with collegiate coaching experience, 18 coaches that have coached at USA Junior Olympics and 14 coaches that have NCAA women's volleyball playing experience. more>>

Over the 23+ years of existence AJV's teams, players, and coaches have accumulated numerous awards making it a model of excellence for volleyball clubs around the country.

Austin Sports Center

Austin Junior Volleyball practices at the Austin Sports Center. This unique facility is located in Central Austin with easy access from all areas of town. The facility can accomodate 4 competition courts or 6 practice courts and is equipped with state of the art volleyball training equipment.

Austin Juniors North

Austin Juniors runs a Cedar Park program in our newly-constructed ASC Cedar Park location, located 5 miles west of IKEA. more>>
