Hailey Roberts named Division II First-Team All-America
AJV, Alumni

For the third year in a row, AJV Alumni Hailey Roberts was named to to the 2017 AVCA Division II First-Team All America. The Tarleton State senior outside hitter has been a staple on the list since her sophomore season. She's only the 21st different player in AVCA history to be selected to the First-Team three times. 

Hailey was also named the Lone Star Conference Player of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year, and was a first-team all-conference selection. She won 17 career weekly honors in her four-year stint as a TexAnn. 

Hailey averaged 4.65 kills per set, a .248 hitting percentage, 3.03 digs per set, .43 blocks per set, and added 31 service aces during her senior season. She broke Tarleton State's all-time kills record during her junior year. 

Her coach, Mary Schindler, said of Hailey, "I knew the second we signed Hailey Roberts that we were getting one of the most gifted athletes in all of Division II in any sport."
