AJV Boys Post a Pair of Top Finishes at the HVA Spring Classic

On Saturday, January 19th, AJV Boys made the trip down I-10 to Houston to compete in the 2013 HVA Spring Classic. After a long day on the court, AJV Boys found themselves playing in the championship match in each age division. Shrugging off fatigue, AJV Boys 13s avenged their early-season loss to rival HVA Young Guns 13s, winning in straight sets to capture the championship of the 13 & Under division. AJV Boys 14s met a familiar foe in their title bout, coming out victorious in a tough-fought 3 set match over the visiting Bayou Boys 14s from New Orleans. AJV Boys 18s rounded out play with a narrow defeat to the South Texas Volleyball Academy 18s in the championship match of the 18 & Under division for a 2nd place finish.

Mark your calendars: AJV Boys will host the 1st annual AJV Boys Spring Swing on March 2nd at the Austin Sports Center - South. Come on out and support our boys!
